How do you get mold of the ceiling?

It's been there for awhile now but it's all "dead"

but how do i clean it up the .. residue? It's just like grey paint on the ceilling, not like moist or anything

Wash it with bleech and water (use a mask) and then re paint your ceiling to cover any stains.

We had to do that to my ceiling. You bleach the ceiling until the mold is dead and gone. I hope this works, if not i would ask a painting professional.

First of all I would suggest that you wash the area with an "Anti-fungal wash" If that does not completely get rid of it, wash it again with the same solution. If that treatment fails to clean it up, then I would say, try a bleach solution. Still not done the job, there is a "Stain Block" spray which you could use, if your ceiling is white, this brings you ceiling colour back and seals the stain. good luck.

A bleach / water solution is best for mold.  Better find the cause though, or it will come back!
