  1. Well if there white try washing them with bleach.. and for color clothes try washing them with tide and 1/2 cup of biz or Clorox2.. Good Luck.. If that don't work, take them to a cleaners and see if they have any suggestions.. :)

  2. Mild mildew in clothing, rewash with your detergent AND either liquid Spc N Span or Pine Sol in the load.  Heavy mildew or actual mold will not get washed out.

  3. The other day I found mildew stain on my daughters fav. Gymboree top and well I couldn't use straight up chlorine bleach, so I did the next best thing. I tossed my daughters shirt in the pool and let it sit in there for a few days and then let in dry in the sun. Mildew was gone!

Though I know that is not practical for most people. Try oxyclean or clorox 2 or mule team borax and soak it or even lemon juice and let it dry in the sun.

  4. hang it out in the sun, the sun works wonders!

  5. Clorox or bleach turn the mold white but is is still there.

Soak the cloths in a good 6 to one mix of water and white table vinigar. Then run them through a wash with a clorox two. Then hang them in the hot sun to dry.

Then tumble them in the dryer just a bit with a fabric softener cloth.

  6. why is there mold in ur cloth... but soke it for a while then put it through the wash with color bleach

  7. Check out the remarkable research on toxic mold removal done by environmental expert Dr Ed Close. Simply diffusing a therapeutic-grade essential oil regularly will likely result in an environment very hostile to mold.

Cost of the Thieves Household Cleaner, a diffuser and a couple bottles of the Thieves oil that Dr Close recommends to his remediation clients: about $250.

The diffused oil would penetrate your clothing. I use a cap or two full of Thieves Household Cleaner every washer load...nothing else needed.

  8. I gert mold out by soaking them in 1/2 cup oxiclean dissolved in warm water for an hour to three days depending on how much mold before washing. Clothes come out looking new. No fading from bleach.

  9. Mildew stains and smells can actually be removed with a lemon and some salt. Cut the lemon in half, sprinkle a generous amount of salt on the inside of the lemon and scrub away.
