I want to create a forum with PhBB3 and I am wondering how to get more views. These is my first question.

1. How do you get people to sign up?

2. Where can I advertise? (give links)

Post in some other sports forums to invite to yours. Utilize the social networks, Myspace, facebook and Twitter is getting hot with activity.

Write some short attention getting articles and submit to ezinearticle and use your forum link in resource box.

You can promote your forum site at digital forum.Promote at myspace and face book too.You can try to advertise at high traffic free classified site.my website get more traffic from that.

One of the best ways to get more visits to your site is to put the link of your site into your question here.  This will get a lot of people to click on it and visit.  

Another good thing to use is wordpress.com.  Write an article that will captivate a surfer’s attention to make them want to click on your site.  

And another good resource to get visits is to join forums and post the link to your site there on each post.
