How do you get motor oil stains out of carpet?

First, if there's any oil left, you need to soak it up.  Pour salt into the spills if there are any, to soak it up.  Then try scrubbing with Dawn and baking soda.  This should break down the oil.  If all of that doesn't work, you can try something like Oxy clean or a carpet cleaner.  But make sure you get any oil up that's left first.
