How do you get music of your ipod on to your computer???

I deleted all of the music of my computer by accident and its all on my ipod is there anyway i can get it of my ipod onto my computer again thanks

itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.

You could manually copy the songs out of the iPod through Windows Explorer (the music files are in a hidden folder on your iPod), but the iPod software renames the music files so that you can't search for song names.

I personally use iDump (http://www.download.com/iDump/3000-2169_... pretty easy to use, and is very small. The only problem I've encountered so far is that it has trouble outputting songs with foreign language characters in the name. You have to manually rename them once they're on your computer.

I also recently learnt about a freeware called Floola, another program that allows you to transfer music and videos to and from your iPod. (http://www.floola.com/modules/wiwimod/)

Yes.  There is this class of programs called iPod managers.  There are many out there.  Too many to list.  You will find them on Download.com. Or you can just download Media Monkey and be done with it.
