How do you get nail polish off when nail polish remover wont get it off?

my lil sis has nail polish on her toes and it wont come off with nail polish remover any tricks ?!?

it will be a little more difficult than remover that works. but what i do when i run out of remover is take a clear or any polish really apply it and wipe it off right after it takes off both coats. just dont let it dry.

I bet you have non-acetone nail polish remover.  That's the gentle kind that is not as harsh on the nails, but sometimes it's not as effective in getting the polish off.  Check the label and if that's what it is, buy some old fashioned nail polish remover with acetone in it.  Acetone can dry out the nails if used all the time, but this seems to be a situation where it's needed.

You can use a nail to file of the top layer of it, then you use nail polish remover....
