  1. Hi!

This is gonna sound funny, but it works!

Someone I used to work with used  'Jolene' on her fingers which is a bleach ladies use for bleaching fine facial hairs!

You can get it in Tesco, Asda, Boots etc.

    Hope this helps!

  2. My pumice stone works a treat.

  3. Nail brush and hydrogen peroxide should remove what is already there.

If you hold the cigarette so that the fire is above your fingers, the smoke will rise so that the tars to do not condense onto your fingers and nails.

For a passionate anti-smoker this is a very controlled answer, as requested.

  4. soak in lemon juice  followed by nail brush and soap but it won't get rid of it 100% and it will come back.

..or I used to use my facial clarifying lotion and I'd be careful how I held my cigs.

As an ex-heavy smoker I don't think there is anything comedic about suggesting you stop. It's a better life without addiction...but hey I know how hard it is to make that choice and actually do it. Wish I'd never smoked in the first place.

  5. if its not too bad, rub gently with an Emery board over stain,

  6. Try scrubbing, then bleach what's left using household bleach on a cotton bud.  That just leaves you with the problem of how to get rid of the Chlorine.

On the other hand, why bother?  If you're going to smoke, be open about it and show off your scars to the world.  Of course, the inside of your lungs looks much the same as your fingers, but only the autopsy will see that.

  7. cut your fingers off.

  8. There is a product made especially for this, I use it to whiten my nails, it's called "Bubbly White", I get it at Sally Beauty Supply. It comes in a little paper packet for about 50 cents, you add it to water and soak your fingers.

  9. battery acid, turps, gasoline, diesal, lighter fluid, flames, boiling kettle water...

  10. It's very difficult to get rid of it as it is deeply ingrained in the nails. They look orange yellow don;t they.

My father-in-law (used to smoke 50-60 a day!) used vinegar, bicarb of soda and lemon juice all mixed together in a bottle with a nail brush and just scrubbed away.

If it does this to your nails just think of what it does to your lungs!

My father-in-law quit smoking in April when they found a growth on his lungs.

  11. The most effective and permanent way is to stop smoking.

However, if you wish to continue with the life shortening habit, try holding the cigarette in a way that the smoke does not rise over your fingers.

That worked very well for me.

  12. Try lemon juice - works every time x
