How do you get on Live on your Xbox 360?

I've done Matchmaking, which is kind of like live but with only 4 people. I have an account and everything along with a working signal. So where on your Xbox 360 do you go to to get online for Live?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean here, but there are many ways to get on xbox live:

-Gaming

-The marketplace

-Chatting- Viewing friends

When you turn your Xbox on, it should automatically log on, if not, then log in the manual way (by pressing the center button and choosing your live account), and you should see options to view your friends, messages, etc. if you scroll left on the Xbox menu, you can access the marketplace and get demos, movies, etc. To play online against others , you just insert the game of your choice, go to multi player, and choose Xbox live.  What you need to know is that as soon as you log onto a xbox live account you are online for live.
