OK- I CAN at least TRY and describe this mount:

You know in fight club when the main character gets on top of blondie and pummels the h**l out of him?! Well I wanna know how to get out of that as it's a V.dangerous situation

If you haven't seen fight club it's a mount when your opponent is sitting on your torso where your thighs begin but you're unlucky enough to have him sitting on your arms aswell as they are by your torso and you were too slow to get them out so you're stuck with no defense!

I know that in the physics of Ju-jitsu that there is always a way in and always a way out

Need to know this in order to protect myself and kick ***!

  1. When your mounted, the first thing is not to get hit. Control your opponents hands, arms, or upper body. The second priority is the escape itself, which is effected by bridging up or bucking the hips, while turning  to either side, which will usually land you in your opponents guard.

  2. If you want to get out of this mount, you need to ask around your area and find good jiu-jitsu instruction.  That's where you will learn.  Asking here won't get you the instruction you need.  It will only get your *** kicked.

  3. OK the best thing...if you can manage it would be to arch push off his back...try to pop your head out...then attempt to stand or roll around let him turn into your guard.

If you cant to this...you must take the long road...one way is what the guy above me said...

Get your arms back...snake under his legs do whatever it takes...and make it fast lol...or you will die trust me...

Ok let say you got your arms back...turn on your side shielding your face with your top arm...put your hand over your ear...so your arm is in a V shape over the side of your head...with the other arm...push his knee out to where there is enough space you to get your leg through...do the same thing on the other side get your guard...roll or submit from there

    Create Space Fast...or die...

I won my first MMA fight from the mount...the guy was owning me standing...I mount in the 2nd round...game over...best thing is dont get mounted lol

  5. Ok, so you're mounted but it's a low mount. Meaning that he's sitting just where your thighs begin. That's actually a good thing. Your arms are trapped, which sucks. Here's how you escape.

First things first. If you find yourself in that position, YOU WILL GET HIT. The most important thing while mounted is to keep your cool. Don't panic. You'll take some shots if your arms are trapped, there's no avoiding it, but if you panic and freak out any hope of escaping will be lost.

Most escapes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu begin with a quick bridge of your hips. So keeping your feet planted, your first step is to push your hips up towards the sky as explosively as you can. In doing this, your opponent will raise up allowing you to slide your arms free.

So now your arms are free. Let your hips fall back to the floor. Now you need to stop yourself from getting hit. You do this by over hooking your opponents arms. Reach up through their elbow pocket, wrap your arms around theirs, and grip their triceps tightly.

Now you can begin the real escape. You're not in danger of being hit if you over hook the arms strongly. The most basic escape in BJJ is called the Upa. To perform this you need to trap an arm, and a leg on the same side of your opponents body, bridge up explosively, and roll your opponent onto their back. So first things first, pick a side. We'll say you decide to Upa your opponent to the right. You slide your grip from your opponents tricep, to just above the elbow. Pull the arm tight to your body. The purpose of trapping this arm is so that when you roll your opponent, he can't post his arm out and stop you from sweeping him. Since you've chosen your opponents right side, you also need to trap his leg on the right. So using your right foot, step it so that it is outside of his left foot. Have your ankle pressing tight against the outside of his left foot. You do this so when you sweep, he cannot post out his leg to prevent you from rolling him. Now you have your opponents left arm, and left leg trapped on your right side. Perfect. All that's left is explosively bridging your hips towards the sky. This breaks your opponents base and balance and brings them forward. As they break forward, keeping your grips tight,  look over your right shoulder and roll your opponent in that direction. You're pushing off your left foot, rolling your opponent right over your shoulder. It's important you look over your shoulder because the roll isn't straight to the right. It's right and up. Using your bridge and broken balance of your opponent to help you out. That is the basic Upa escape, and will work a high percentage of the time against someone with little to no knowledge of grappling and or BJJ. In other words, it's successful in most street fight situations. Practice that endlessly as the mount is a dangerous position if you don't know how to escape it properly. You'll notice in MMA competition a lot of fights end when a guy gets mounted. Even if they are highly trained.

Hope that helps. My suggestion is to study Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Read up. Find a gym. Just study. You'll learn more techniques like the Upa that work in combination. If one fails flow to the other. All that good stuff. Later.

  6. If your talking about a Ground N Pound mount then you have to take control of their arms. (You learn to do this in BJJ) and then you have to shift your hips so they become off-balanced and you can get them off you.(You learn this in Judo) And then you should be fine!!

  7. Try to bump the gy up towrds your head and then turn to your side and get your top leg out from inbetween his legs and get it around him. then do the smae thing with the other side. Now your much safer with your legs wrapped around him
