  1. just go in shallow water for a while then start getting deeper and deeper each time

  2. This will sound odd, not many people know this about me, but I have a fear of water myself. I believe in facing your fears as the best way to live your life. I decided to take swimming lessons to help with it. I learned that I love swimming and I don't suck at it. I even joined a local swim team. I became a lifeguard. This has helped a lot. I still feel panic when I'm messing around with friends and someone tackles me and holds me under, but I talk myself into thinking everything is ok. It definitely helps to know how to swim good.

  3. always keep a floaty with you and you know there is a bottom to a pool and you can hold your breath.. so next time get in and if you cant touch the bottom.. go down and touch it and bounce back up.. you should get over it by then

and if her pool is deeper than you are tall its okay to be scared.. but it is just water.. and if anything were to happen you have friends there

  4. each time u go to get in the water, just go in slowly and go in more each time u go swimming.

    hope this works

  5. Look back at your childhood.

Did you ever have an encounter with water that may have been harmful to you or others?

Sometimes, our consciences store little things like that which will bother us for the rest of our lives. If you can think of something, then see a Psychologist or talk to a close friend. You obviously need to get over this little bit of fear in you consciences.

And so what if you're afraid of water? Its healthy to have fears! Don't beat yourself up over something you may or may not be able to change! But if you really want to work on this fear, consider swimming lessons. It'll make you more comfortable in the water and that may eliminate any fear you have. If you want to get really serious, take  lifeguard class. If you've ever seen someone drown, your brain freaks out around water because it know that if that were to happen again, you wouldn't be able to help. So make your brain confident, and soon enough you will be confident too.

    Hope this helps.

  6. prepare yourself and tell one of your friends to push you in.
