I work for a small business in illinois, and recently i traveled 96 miles in 3 days from my home. My work is telling me that they are going to only pay me for my gas mileage from work to the destination where as i thought i should be paid from home to destination. But, my job is mostly at the business i would say 97% of the time. Should they pay me for home to destination or work to destination? is there any law in illinois that states how this works?

  1. By IRS rules they have to reimburse from the job to destination.   Not just the rules of your employer, it is a federal requirement.
