How do you get pee stain & smell out of carpet and hardwood floor?

I have pee on a thin rug (there's no padding underneath it) and on the floor. How do I get rid of the stains on the rug and smell???

I agree with Kat but also the vineagar is suppose to keep the pet from doing it there again.   Reason being is it is suppose to get rid of the smell.

I use this stuff called Out! Stain and Odor Remover.  You just spray it on, leave it on a few minutes and then dab it up with a paper towel.  They make a bottle of it specially for pet stains.  It works everytime!

Are you saying that your pet had an accident?

I usually use Dettol slightly diluted.

Then rinse it off with a sponge and a lot of water

If you don't have Dettol,

use vinegar the same way.
