How do you get people to stop calling you emo when you are being who you are?

I'm a guy I'm 17 i wear black and white and dark blue i have long black bangs (not in my eyes i was born with black hair) i have friends(I'm not the most popular guy out there but...) yeah an please if you are gonna leave comments like this " you ******" or " go cut urself" or somthing stupid like that it wont bother me so there really is no point....

It's your cross to bear, my friend. No matter what you look like/wear, SOMEONE is going to find something in that look to make sport of ... it's part of life. If you're doing what you're doing, and you like who you are, just avoid the people calling you "emo." Is that "Emo" as in Emo Phillips, or is that short for emotional?

i had that same problem, so i took off my spiked belt and beat the h**l out him......but i was susspended......

Just ignore them.

Or take the p**s and make a remark back.

But the best thing is do is ignore.

The word "emo" is so last year!

I see your problem... I know this is probably the worst advice I could give but you just need to stay who you are.  Who cares what other people think about you?  Their opinion won't matter is a couple of years.  You'll be rewarded when you stay persistent to yourself and stay true to who you really are.
