How do you get people to stop spreading stupid rumors about you.?

You can't control others actions. But you can change yourself, and how you respond to their actions. They are doing it, because there is something about you they are either intimidated by, or jealous of. If you stop responding, and quit trying to defend yourself, they will eventually quit. If they know it bothers you, they will keep at it. If they know it doesn't bother you, they will move on. They will find another victim. Get some confidence, don't worry about it. It will go away.

I really don't think there'a a way, if you aks them to stop they probably won't(been there done that) or probably they would do it even more so just ignore them, y do you care? you know they're not true, your real friends know they're not true so whatever.

Ignore them, do things to flip the rumors over. Etc:

"She's a liar."

Try extra hard to be truthful.

Act like you don't care.  Have a "whatever" attitude and get on with your life.  After a while the person doing the rumor spreading will realize that they aren't acheiving thier goal of upsetting you, so they'll give up.

confront this person and let him know that you will talk to those people and correact the rumors.  this will put the gossip monger on the alert that other will know what she is

Stop caring. When people see your just going to shrug it off, it becomes no fun. If you are ranting and running around like crazy it becomes a game to them. If you just blow them off and say 'whatever' when they start, it kills the game!

you have to make sure that u talk to ur really loud-mouthed friends the truth of the matter so that soon everyone will know what really happened!

just ignore them. when people ask you tell them to shove it in there mouth. you know the truth and thats all that matters.
