  1. Use Febreze on your carpet and upholstered furniture every day.  Use Febreze air freshener once or twice a day, as well.

Put down some Carpet Fresh before you vacuum.  Vacuum twice a week to keep your carpet clean.

Instead of relying on puppy pads, walk your dog.  The puppy should be walked every hour until it learns that urinating and defecating are outside activities.  Another way to house-train your dog is by crating it.  Research housebreaking your dog - you might find that if you do that properly your house won't stink.

  2. I am a professional carpet cleaner- There is only one product that I know of for consumers that is professional grade and works. Urine Off!

All the other products will promise the world but can never back it up.

You may need a blacklight to locate the source at night time. Good Luck!

  3. Change the carpet and get rid of the dog.

  4. clean with baking soda and sprinkle some on carpets, set a while then vacuum they also sell pet odor removers

  5. We have a Hoover Steam Vac and we use Bissell Pet Odor and Soil in it.  It works real well if it is not too soiled.   You can rent those carpet cleaners at the stores and use the Bissell product in it too.

    Good luck
