How do you get photes, that are picture( not digital), to be put into digital form to send them as an e-mail?

this is for a graduation slide show and my parents are frustrated with it because they can't get it.

If using a regular camera, there is an option when a roll of film is being developed to have them put on a CD.  Then they can be attached to an email, or loaded onto a photo storage site where you can give people access to view.

If you already have the photos, you would need to scan them onto your computer.  If you don't have a scanner, then you could bring them someplace (Kinkos, etc.) to be scanned onto a CD.
