How do you get pics off a disk?

I tried, but it's this wierd icon, it's like this red A, and I'm not sure how to change it to a .jpg or something. I want to upload it to myspace.

That depends on what kind of CD burner you have.

not sure file type unknown, disk is hard drive, disc is cd/dvd, disk can be from camera mem disk, or usb ram ,

suggest coping to main drive in folder, then check properties for what type of files they are formatted in extension wise, if image try viewer like IrfanView ,
