How do you get points on nintendo WII?

someone told me you can get internet on wii with 500 points. how do you get points?

You have to purchase wii points and then you can get the internet channel, wiiware (wii games downloaded straight from the console) and virtual wii games (old games made for the wii). These are really fun because you do not have to leave the room to get the games. To buy these wii points you have to either by them with your credit card or buy a wii card. Each point is equivalent to 1 cent so the internet is 5 dollars.

Or go to a store and buy the Wii Point Card(s), which have a special code on the back that you put into the Wii.

1) You can register the Wii games you already have on the Nintendo Website to get some free Wii Points.

(depends where you live)

2) You can buy Wiipoint cards from local stores/venders

(ex: Target, Bestbuy, CircuitCity , Any Place thats sells Wii)

3) You can buy some online from nintendo using a debitcard or creditcard

(You can also buy it through your Wii)

You have to purchase them, and there are two ways. Putting in Credit Card/Debit information through to Wii to purchase them, or buying them in a store and putting in THAT information.

500 points = $5

2,000 = $20

you can download Wii points using your credit card, or you can get it at a a place that sells other Wii accessories. so if you get it using your Wii choose the download Wii points option on the shopping channel.

it costs $10 to buy 1000 wii points for the minimum amount.

What you can do is go to the wii shop channel and buy them using a credit card, or you can just buy a wii points card at a regular video game store like walmart, gamestop, or target.

If you buy it from the store then the minimum amount of points you can buy is 2000 for about $20

dont listen to the people who are saying the internet channel is $5, they are lying because the minimum amount of points you can get is 1000 which costs $10. So they force you to buy more points than you need which is very evil of nintendo to do.

So think of it this way, internet channel+NES game= $10
