  1. Good employees will follow their boss' lead, so be sure to show your diligence and clearly differentiate between work time and down time.  Show enthusiasm and try to reward productivity instead of constantly correcting slackers (although sooner or later you will have to correct people who don't catch on).  Music that is energetic but not distracting is always a good way to keep the pace moving without there being that awkward silence.  Always give an ample break so employees are looking forward to their break and don't come back feeling rushed.  Most importantly you have to hire for that energetic and enthusiastic personality, and then train them on the skills--doing it vice versa will never work.  Oh yeah, and if they don't use their sick days, then let them take wellness/personal days, because at my job you just lose them and that really bites. :-)

  2. Give them great energy drinks when they come in to work like Verve http://www.myverve.com/FireYourBoss

  3. tell them that you will be cool as long as the work is getting done the right way but if you get in trouble because it's not then they are gonna hear it too and then you are not be cool pick one the bosses that isn't cool and start treating them like that boss treats their workers. then when they ask why are you being like that then ask them isn't that the way you want me to be because i tried to be cool but you didn't want to do your work and got me in trouble and I'm not gonna lose my job over you or no one else.

  4. Treat them with respect and they will give it back to you, would you wanna work for a boss that showed no interest in you or did not respect you?  Take this advise and your employees will not only respect you but will wanna work hard for you.

  5. Never ask them to do anything your not willing to do yourself...never forget the good things they do and positive rewards other than a paycheck always helps...cheap things such as a 10 dollar  fast food card go loooooong ways. You will find they are always willing to go the extra mile if they know your willing to take care of them

  6. give em a raise

  7. respect them and dont yell whenever they do something wrong. from stress or even fear they'll rather quit before getting a heart attack.

make them feel welcomed and compliment their work, say things like "you're a nice worker". its nice when you wake up in the morning and you are happy to go to work knowing there are nice people waiting for you.

  8. being an employer he has to build certain qualities such as mentor, adviser, guider. employer has to make clear about employee goal as well as companies goal. employee should feel that my personal goal is laying in achieving the company goals based on this employer should  guide him, hold him, motivate him.

job satisfaction, safety , reliable growth in the company makes the employees to have high productivity in his work/
