How do you get rid of Amur fish in a pond?

these fish were bought to clean the algae but they are not eating the algae. they are eating our expensive water lillies.. How to we catch them since you can't hook them because they will not bite on a hook. Any suggestions so we can save our expensive lillies

    The white amur will become quite large and algae just wont be enough for them to eat so they move on to bigger and better foods.

    The Algae eaters are really meant for use in aquariums although some people put them in ponds and expect 3 or more to do the job.

  3. I've heard of people setting hooks out in the grasses baited with certain vegetables or fruits. It may take a few days to get one, but it should work. Try spinach.
