How do you get rid of Antivirus XP 2008?

Question

I am having serious problems getting rid of this virus. It popped up last night and I immediately ran Trend Micro PC Cillin. It quarantined two files, both called "VBS_FAKEALER.HJ." That didn't help. I found a site that had instructions on how to get rid of it. It got rid of the background hijacker, but not the browser hijacker. That still has a hold on my computer.

I tried going to Trend Micro and AVG last night and this morning. The browser cannot even connect. I've downloaded AVG through C/Net, but it comes back corrupted. This is seriously bugging me. Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove this virus?

Well as i see what ur saying i can understand that there is somekind of script running on your pc well i dont know the solution which is 100% but i can provide with one tool which is use to block running script...but only VB here is the link...http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/noscrip...

just enter this like in address bar you will be asked to download one tool download it and install it..
