How do you get rid of XP security center (Spyware) Off a PC?

It keep saying i have a virus on my PC and it wont let me fully run my virus protection program please help! how do i get it off

Run your anti-spyware in Safe Mode.If you dont have an excellent anti-spyware or your current anti-spyware can't prevent spyware from Invading you computer,download a better one.

You can download and scan your computer for free.

As the computer is booting press your "F8 Key" repeatly which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" . Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

After into safe mode,run an anti-spyware to remove the spyware and adware on you computer.

Make sure you have 1 or 2 antispyware on your computer and 1 antivirus and also 1 firewall.

Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT remove these as they are malicious codecs, although they may find reference to them and remove it but upon rebooting it's back again.

Therefore you need to use a 'layered' approach to removing this parasite.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Full Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

Disconnect your computer from the internet

i think you are talking abou anit-virus 2008 or 2009 anti virus 2008 or 2009 are very BAD viruses you need to download AVG free make sure you turn off system restore to get there right click my computer properties click the tab that says system restore then turn it off if you dont the virus will just keep coming back hope the helps

also try this go into my computer click on Local Disk C: go into program files find antivirus 2008 or 2009 and delete the folder make sure you turn off system resote you wont be able to remove it if you dont

sometimes viruses hide in your registry so download a program called ccleaner and run that too

also download and these and run scans with them

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Windows Defender comes with vista so if you have vista dont download

o i had that too... just delete the user account that has the program. it worked for me
