  1. Find the source of the bad smell then clean or remove it.  For the residual odor, light some scented candles

  2. I did have problems with an elder in the house that could not always make it to the right place - and also dropped a lot of food.  Bought Urine Gone, advertised on late night T.V. Works fine. I bought it from local rite Aid . It is   $20 bucks and half of that is because there is an infra-red flashlight in the box.   The Infra-Red helps us find otherwise invisble areas to spray. As for the spray, it also works on inside of shoes.   I think that it is citrus acid based.

If the problem is in the walls, do not be afraid to open up the drywall and see what is going on. Just use an expert if U do not know how to find studs and wiring/pipes in the walls.

  3. Depends what it is.  The first thing you can try is baking soda.  Buy a fresh box.  Less than a buck.

Sprinkle it on the floor, carpets, rugs and let it sit for a few hours.  then just vacuum it up  It's a natural deodorant.

But you'll probably need to find out where the odor is coming from.
