How do you get rid of a persistent piece of software that refuses to disappear after closing the tab?

This software causes BT Yahoo browser to crash time after time.

  1. You are somewhat unclear As i am on BT Broadband & i cant understand what you mean. Is it a programme  you want to uninstall? What is the software ?  


  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del

    This should bring up the Windows Task Manager.

    Check that it is not in Applications - End Task if it is.

    If it is not there check the Processes tab and End the task there.

    This might be a bit tricky - you have to know what the process is called and you should only do this when not doing anything important (save any work), in case it crashes your computer!

  3. start menu, control panel, add/remove programs and select the program and uninstall it...
