How do you get rid of a stomach cramps during a race?

Well, I do Cross Country, and sometimes I get cramps in my stomach and I feeel like slowing down, are there any ways to prevent this or anything I can do to reduce the cramping During the race?

  1. They are probably side aches or side stitches, do more core (ab) workouts to help strengthen your abs or you can hold the side that it is hurting on and with your other arm, raise your hand up, then breathe in slowly, usually that helps.


  2. when you run bend  your back forward for a while and the pain will decrease or go away.

    another way to get rid of cramps is a sudden release of adrenoline which if you pick up the pace all of a sudden you can get it to relieve the pain and get rid of it
