  1. a match works well

  2. Cut it up with an axe. I use a saw with the blade reversed myself.

where is the boat, maybe I can help?

  3. Put it in the lake,

late at night! That should do it

Advertise it on craigslist as a free antique project boat. I'm sure someone will come get it. It is also free to advertise on craigslist.

  4. Call around and see if you can get a junk yard to take it.  If it is a small boat, like about 14 ft., you might find someone that might want it to make a planter out of.

  5. grind off the serial numbers with a grinder and dump it somewhere  make sure there are no markings on it like the hull numbers or anything like that

  6. There are boatyards that will take old 'glass hulls.

You may have to pay a fee.

They then put them through a giant grinder and out comes little fiberglass chips. What these become I don't know.

  7. Fiberglass can be recycled. The previous poster who mentioned the chipper said the first part of the process. They they recycle the chips.

Fiberglass is easy to repair with the right practice. Some hobbiest might take it off your hands. So craigslist might be an option too.

  8. Contact your local landfill.  This might be run by your city or county government, or in some cases by a private company. Most require you to remove the fuel tank.  they crush the remains with their giant bulldozers.  Most don't charge for this service if you live in their jurisdiction.
