What kind is it? with some kinds you can take iron pills, eat lots of liver etc. With other kinds you can take a monthly shot. What did your doctor say? Did he suggest anything, or write a prescription? Sometimes it (anemia is lifelong) it can be Idiopathic, meaning the doctor does not know where it came from. It is very common, over 400 different types, if it is dangerously low, the doctor probably would have suggested a blood transfusion. Call him up and ask his nurse what he plans to do, maybe test you for an ulcer.
