How do you get rid of arm pit stains on a white shirt?

I use dove deodorant ultimate clear for sensitive skin. I have light brown marks on the sides of the arms. Can I use bleach to take these out? The shirt is not pure white it contains a black and silver pattern. It is a favorite shirt and I do not like that it has stains around the bottom of the arm holes.

For all these suggestions, always make sure you don't try one right after the other. If one doesn't work, you must rinse the blouse out very, very well in cold water before trying the next. (Don't machine dry - that will set the stain.) If you don't rinse, the chemicals can interact and create a worse stain, or in some circumstances a toxic gas.

1. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a tablespoon of water. Spread the paste on the stain and work it into the fabric. Let it sit until it dries completely, then brush it off and rinse.

2. Add one tablespoon of ammonia to 1/4 cup of water. Dampen a rag and daub the stain only with the damp rag over and over again until it disappears.

3. Dissolve one regular crushed aspirin in a cup of water and apply to the stain with an old toothbrush, let sit.

4. Squeeze some fresh lemon juice (it has to be right from the lemon, not from a bottle) on the stain then shake salt over it. Rub with your fingers, then put the item out in the sun for a while.

5. Wash in cold water with Oxyclean.

6. Sprinkle on 20 Mule Team Borax (or however many mules there are - I don't remember at the moment) , rub the stain, then launder in cold water.

The best way is to soak them in hot water and laundry soap for 3 days and you should also put vinegar. (this may smell a bit but will be gone after you wash them in the machine). Rinsing properly after the process will release the stains prior to machine washing. I srtongly advise to use powder laundry soap baught at the 99c stores. (it has chinese writting on it)
