  1. open all windows and doors. and turn on all fans. keep them on and open as long as possible..

    air freshener.

one of my girls burnt something not long ago, got out the house/smoke smell. but it took a while for all smell to be gone out of microwave, not a big deal.

  2. You can certainly fill a microwave safe bowl with lemon juice and water. Microwave it for a minute. Let it set until cool. Open the door, wipe down the inside of the microwave. If the room smells, use an air freshener, or open the window.

  3. Have you tried baking soda? If not ,try mixing some water and some baking soda and wipe the inside. if that doesn't work put the water &baking soda in the oven &turn it on for a few minutes.

  4. I had that problem with my microwave.  I heated cold water in a dish with soap and baking soda for about ten minuets or until it boiled.  Then I stored ground coffee in the microwave for a few days.  Mine was bad though burned fish ewww.  Arm and Hamer Soda works great! Sprinkle it in your carpet, wash the walls with it, couch and so on.
