How do you get rid of clorox smell?!?

okay, i was hand washing my white tank top with clorox. i can still smell it on my hands even i washed my hands countless times! how do you get rid of it? ugh...

Lots of hand lotion. Give it a few hours and it'll go away.

Honey, that smell you are smelling are toxins.  Bleach is a very harsh chemical that is very toxic to inhale and when you wash with it (especially hand wash) that goes into your pores.  I would suggest that you ditch the chemicals and wash with something that would be less harmful to your health.  I use to wash with clorox and sometimes the smell use to give me a headache.  You have to keep in mind that bleach is a strong corrosive. It may irritate or burn the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. It may even cause pulmonary edema. I now use a eco friendly cleaner that whitens clothes with peroxide.  Seventh Generation sells a great bleach alternative.
