  1. Birds do not get fleas they get mites. Go to the pet store and buy some cans called, CAGE GUARD and hang them on the outside of the bird's cage. Cover the cage bird and all for 24 hours and all the mites will die. Keep it covered if you think the bird still has them and you can also spray your bird with water to force it to clean itself often too.

  2. Birds do not get fleas. They get mites and lice. You can get a product called scalex and apply to them with a cotton ball. Do not spray as it may get into eyes and nose and mouth. Also make sure your bird has them for sure. may be just molting and itchy with lots of white dander. I usually cover cage with white sheet at night and in the am if there is little red spots on sheet then you have mites and lice. Can also get disc's at pet store to prevent them but not get rid of them. Make sure you clean the cage well. Also let birds bathe or mist them for the itching. Good luck

  3. Just for information's sake, the Cage Guard disks are poison.  You may as well fill your bird's cage with mothballs.  PLEASE don't use that stuff around your bird.
