I washed them before I used them and once since, the fluff everywhere is driving me mad.

  1. Go to 2 buck store and get your self a lint ball it picks lint up

Throw it in the washing machine when you wash.

  2. Hi

If it is pilling apparently that has to do with the thread count of the sheets, anything over 400-500 is supposed to be ok with the higher number the better.

To get ride of fluff i get a roll of thick sticky/masking tape and wrapit sticky side up loosly around my hand a couple of times then i run it over what ever i am de fluffing give it a go it works great.

  3. The fluff gives them the warmth and softness that you want from flannelette sheets.  Wash them and hang them to dry, rather than the dryer, and they will not fluff as much

  4. Dry them in the dryer...and remember to keep cleaning the lint filter as it will get awful fluffy the first time.  Flannelette sheets are supposed to be fluffy but they do not usually leave bits of fluff everywhere.
