How do you get rid of grass growing in a retention pond?

For all you green folks we have a retention pond that has grass growing at the waters edge and into the pond about 5 feet. How could you get rid of that without an impact on the pond? Just to let all you really green people know we need to be drilling for oil in the protected areas. If it was up to me I would take a group of you all, line you up and shoot you just to make a point. YOU ARE KILLING AMERICA and taking things to far. There is a time and place for all that and now is not the time. With that said only critical thinkers please answer the pond question.

  1. pour bleach into it


  2. Use a weed remover but if worst comes to worst use a chemicals always works.

  3. there are chemical to do that ask you local garden center for the right application for the job .

  4. hot water everyday and you will see the results.
