How do you get rid of holes in walls from nails hanging pictures?

If you have to fill holes fast...white toothpaste!  Mush a little into each hole, then wipe off the excess with a damp cloth.  Trust me, this works!

It depends on what kind of walls you have. If its drywall then use spackle, wait till its dry, then sand till smooth and hopefully you have paint to match.

Clean the place and fill it with white cement and make it plain

Later put the same paint on it later

If it is in sheet rock, use painter's putty. On veneer and paneling, use colored wood filler.
