  1. Find their holes and drop a single moth ball into it.  It repells anything!

  2. FYI (and everyone elses) Moles don't eat plants or bulbs!   You need to properly i.d. the pest before you start using chemicals.

You have gophers which are easily controlled WITHOUT chemicals.  Go buy yourself 2 macabee gopher traps and set each one in a seperate directions (once you've excavated his "run").

    Good Luck

Moles eat worms, bugs, etc.(omnivores)  Gophers eat roots, plants & bulbs.(herbivores)

  3. The items I've used are:

    1) Mole chemical spray from Home Depot. You connect the bottle of liquid chemical to your garden hose and spray the yard. It seems to work pretty well.

    2) Mole chasers which are aluminum tubes about 14 to 16 inches long that hold 4 D-sized batteries. You dig a small hole and place them so the top is about as close to ground level as you can go. They emit a vibration every 10 to 15 seconds or so they eventually scare away moles. Their effectiveness varies with the soil type. I have two of them in my front yard which is about 1000 sq. feet.

  4. You should try washing them out by flooding the underground. Put your hose into a hole. Sounds fun actually.
