  1. There is a paste that comes in a tube you can buy at your local discount or grocery store.  I think it is called Raid Max, anyway, we had the same problem and I got that stuff out and put it in all the cracks I could find outside along my foundation and windows and doors mainly on the side of the house that faced the nasty side .  Aparently they eat it and then go back to their nest and die and then the others eat them (gross) and they die.  Anyway, I would try that.

There is also a spray you can buy and I would use it around the perimeter of your yard to detour any others from coming in.

I also put bait traps in places like under the stove, under the sink, behind the fridge and freezer.  They like to live and breed in dark places.  Also don't forget to put some under the bathroom sink.

Keep in mind that roaches don't always come from other houses but can also be carried in on grocery bags and bags of potatos

  2. Boric acid, used as an insecticide in powder form, works by abrading the cockroach’s cuticle, or shell, with its harsh particles. When its shell is damaged, the insect will dry out and ultimately die of dehydration. This is an effective method, but may be less useful in highly humid environments where it will take the cockroach longer to lose its moisture. Some people recommend making a paste by mixing boric acid powder, flour or sugar, and water; the starches make the mix more food-like and thus more attractive to the roac^^try this

    I agree with Little Woman.

  4. Oh dear!

Use boric acid, lots of it. And see what you can do about sealing your house against new roaches, such as check around pipes and cables bringing electricity into the house.

Good luck! Roaches have had millions of years to perfect the art of survival.
