  1. It sounds like you are more dehydrated than you think. You may not feel thirsty, but internally you are. To put it simply, fluids thicken in your mouth to keep your mouth from drying out. It's thickening as a last ditch effort to hang on to moisture. Drinking sodas, juices and coffee does not help the situation. It's all about more water. And quite honestly, using altoids and gums don't help. They just mask and eventually enhance the dryness and bad breath.

As for "HOT" breath, here's a tip: eat a piece of fruit (meaning, foods that belong in the fruit family including tomatoes). I always carry around a tiny zip lock of cucumber slices. Works wonders because it's not sticky, doesn't have an odor and is not gooey like most fruits. Other great candidates are veggies like baby carrots and celery. Citrus fruits are great, but too sticky to just have around. Eating raw fruits and veggies AFTER meals really helps wash everything stinky down. They're pretty much water anyway with special enzymes that kill smelly bacteria.

If your body is dehydrated from eating so much processed foods in a day, it needs more fluids to wash it away. You'll eventually learn to handle the more frequent bathroom trips.

The more flowing water goes through your body (not TOO much. We hear about water overdose, too), it helps with cleaning. Think of stagnant gutter slime on the side of a road. Adding just a little bit of water enhances the smell. But when a water pipe bursts and flows water down the road, it washes the slime away.

If this persists obviously you should consult a doctor. But remember, everyone has bad breath. Eating fresher and taking in more clean natural fluids will help you get a little more ahead of the game. Good luck!
