  1. It sounds like you over-waxed it a little to much! If it is still red and stinging now, that means that you went over the same place too many times with the wax. It usually is supposed to go away within a few hours. But, I think the best you could do right now is sit down, watch some tv, and ice it. Your lip will turn more red from the cold, but after icing it for about 15-20 minutes let your lip warm up again ad see if the redness from the waxing is gone.

  2. i hope u use astringent after waxing cause if u dont then thats the problem...other wise also try using a soft towel dipped in cool rose water i think it will help.

  3. Ice will cool it and reduce any stinging and redness.

I'm a little concerned that 13 hours later it's still sore.  I suspect you put the wax on the same place more than once?  In which case you've probably removed the toplayer of the skin in which case there isn't a lot you can do.  Don't put makeup over it because it will make it worse.

Hold soem ice against it for a few minutes and then cover the area in yoghurt.  Leave it on for as long as you can replcaing it when it gets warm then wash it off in cool water.

  4. Ice Pack, Witch Hazel, Antiseptic Cream, Azulene Oil, and Tea Tree Oil can all help reduce the redness.

  5. Ice I use ice for a bit or a cold pack when i get my brows done.

    Aloe helps too.(fresh aloe)

  6. hydrocortizone cream helps with the redness.  This is what I use when I wax my eyebrows and it goes away pretty quick.  If it still stings after 13 hours you may have taken some skin of too or you are having an allergic reaction to the wax.

  7. use ice to help it sooth a bit.
