  1. Try taking a soak in a warm tub then afterwards get someone to give you a massage.

    It will feel good at first but make it worse in the long run.

    RICE:

    R: Rest

    I: Ibuprofen (or advil, tylenol, etc..)

    C: Cold (ice it!)

    E: Elevation


  5. Take some pain reliever with antinflammatory.

  6. drink lots of water and get moving. Sitting still will only make it worse. The water flushes out the lactic acid that has built up in your muscles.

  7. First of all, knowing why your legs are sore will help.  I assume that your muscles are sore.

    Your muscles get tiny tears in them when you push them.  The tiny tears fill in, and you become stronger.  Also, you may have lactic acid built up from exerting your muscles.

    Time will get rid of the sore muscles.  Until then, stretch and stretch some more.

  8. My p.e teacher told me that when you take a shower you have to turn the water cold and then hot.

    - This will push the lactic acid out of your muscles. when there is lactic acin in your muscles that is what causes the soreness.

    *when you do this make sure that before you turn the water to hot or cold that your body got use to the tempreture then turn it to the other temp.

  12. i know this sounds weird but take a bath and add baking soda to it and soak in the bath for a little bit also massage them and kind of rub the sore spots you can use lotion too good luck.

  13. Take a hot shower and stretch big time! its gonna hurt, but its worth it!

  19. Exercise first to stretch out your muscles so  you don't get cramps.

    I use "pain-a-trait." Which is just a muscle relaxer which i massage onto my legs.

    Apply a lot of pressure.

  23. Heat & Massage. The pain will not completely go away but I find this helps me alot when I've pulled muscles.
