How do you get rid of stains on pine wood?

I left a pack of peaches on my pine welsh dresser and they went soft. I have a big red stain there any ideas how I get rid of it?

  1. Bees wax and wire wool.  It will bring the dresser up like new.


  2. Another way to remove stain discolorations from wood is through the use of a bleaching agent. Similar to removing a stain from fabric, bleaching agents may be used to lighten and remove stains from wood. You may find the Wood Bleaching Kits at your local paint/hardware store. Suggest using a Two-part bleach or A/B bleach. Please test bleaching agent on sample piece of wood to determine how light the wood can be bleached. You may find a combination of sanding and bleaching may be required.
