How do you get rid of the annoying reflection on a flat-screen TV?

I have a 42" Plasma in my living room and I have it mounted across from a very large window. During the daytime it's really hard to see the TV when sitting directly across from it, which happens to be where the coach is.

Are there any ways to get rid of the reflection from the glass of the TV without relocating the television? I can't angle it down either, because it's mounted directly into the wall and the mount doesn't allow it to be angled downwards.

Thanks in advance.

  1. The only thing i can think of is put blinds or curtains up.

  2. I had the same problem and purchased really heavy drapes for the windows.  During the day I close them to watch TV.  Of course, a standard trash bag will work for now.
