I am just looking for more ideas on what to try to get rid of the burning aftertaste of throw up. What worked the best for you that didn't make you sick again?

  1. Brush your teeth...rinse your mouth with mouthwash....rinse your mouth with water.....gargle with salt water......

  2. You may be able to alleviate nausea by keeping some

food in your stomach — by avoiding having a stomach that’s completely empty or completely full. Here are some other dietary suggestions for preventing or relieving nausea:

Eat smaller meals or snacks frequently throughout the day.

Before getting out of bed in the morning, eat a couple of

soda crackers or a piece of dry toast.

Rise slowly, allowing some time for digestion to occur before you get up.

Have a small snack at bedtime and when you get up to go to the bathroom at night.

Avoid foods and smells that trigger nausea.

Drink fewer fluids with your meals.

You should always try non drug remedies first, since it's best not to expose your developing baby to any drugs if you can help it.

    Thanks

  3. All of the above but also I chew on bubbalicious gum. Actually helps make me feel better to.

  4. Spearmint or peppermint gum is good...I found that it settled my stomach when I was feeling sick.

  5. Brushing my teeth is the only thing that totally gets rid of the terrible taste.  If the toothpaste makes you sick I would still brush your teeth with just water and make sure to swish water around in your mouth and spit it out after you throw up if you can't get to brushing your teeth right away.

  6. I'd rinse with 3% hydrogen peroxide (or diluted 12% food grade) and keep it in my mouth for about five minutes, it kills the bacteria and leaves a fresh taste. After that, brush your teeth. Hope this helps!

  7. Sometimes brushing my teeth makes me throw up but I have found after I throw up and there is nothing left, I brush my teeth real fast or even rinse with mouthwash.

If you can't do this, then try eating something to get the taste out.  This doesn't work for me because I have been throwing up everything any time of day.

Good luck and hopefully our morning sickness will STOP!!~~~~~~
