Question:

How do you get rid of tiny beetles in the kitchen/bath?

I have a new house that is a little over 1 year old. I have noticed some small bugs in the bath tub and in my kitchen cabinets. After doing some research on the internet, I have identified them as some kind of beetle. They are tiny and annoying. I hate bugs and want to get rid of them somehow. Any suggestions besides calling pest control?

  1. I had the same problem and it took time but I am happy to say I won and the little black bugs lost.

I went to my local hardware store and bought several kinds of spray that was organic. I sprayed each morning and night for a week. I wiped down the cabinets with a bleach and soapy water mix then sprayed a mist of red pepper and art killer and again waited, then wiped the cabinets again. I had to do the cabinets, sinks, underneath the cabinets several times but I never gave up. After the third time I have not seen any black bugs and now use a stopper in my sinks and keep my windows closed unless I use the screens. I think they came from the sink. I'm not sure. You will see many sprays at the Hardware store. I read the directions and never gave up. I am so happy and I am bug free. Read the directions and follow them to the letter and you too will be bug free soon.
