  1. b/c of the chlorie?!?!?

you still get UV rays through the clouds...

i'm pretty sure you can't get rid of a tan, but by the way, why do you want to get rid of it??

  2. dude, the quickest way to get rid of a tan is with chlorine, it's a bleach, swim indoors.

  3. There is no way to get a tan from chlorine, and even though it is not sunny when you swim, you can still get strong UV rays from the clouds (even stronger than a sunny day!)

To get rid of it, go to a tanning salon, even though it is not that good for u. I think tan salons give you a whole body tan, but i'm not sure.

WEAR A HIGH SPF (40+) sunscreen everyday

  4. chlorine has nothing to do with tanning.

its UV rays and even when its not sunny there are still UV rays shining down and hitting you- especially when you're in the pool as the water reflects the rays onto you.

hence the reason they say to wear suntan lotion every day, not just when its hot and sunny.

if you really don't want a tan, then wear factor 50 every day and cover up!

dont stay inside though, your body needs fresh air and it needs sunlight to produce vitamin D or else you'll get SAD syndrome. no joke.

in terms of getting rid of a tan, just exfoliate a lot which will gradually get rid of the dead skin and therefore the tan.

  5. The only way to get rid of a tan is to stay inside until it fades naturally.  By the way, that takes a long time!  I live in the northeast part of the USA and my summer tan is still evident at Christmas time; while not as dark as during the summer, tan lines are still easily seen.

  6. Obviously you dont know the first thing about UV rays.

Just because the sun is not shining does not mean that the UV rays which cause the sunburns and cause people to tan dont get through the clouds.

Chlorine does nothing to cause your tan.  Chlorine is a strong bleach, and nothing more.  It keeps your swimming pool water clear.

If you are this cautious about tanning, you should probably consider wearing a sunblock like a 50 or a 60 all the time.
