How do you get ride of that thing for the search when you double click and it shows where you have been?

like when you have looked up something and you don't want anyone to now that you have been there.

To clear the searches from the search bar menu on Yahoo! or Google pages, double click the search bar, this will make a menu drop down with your searches, put your cursor on what you want to delete to highlight it, hit the delete button on your keyboard. If you want to delete everything just hold the delete button down until everything is deleted.

To clear searches on Yahoo! Toolbar, click the blue down arrow on the right side of the search bar and on the top of the drop down menu click Options and click Clear Search History.

on the old toolbar, click the pencil then click clear search history.  on the newer toolbar, click settings, then clear search history.  to clear the history from the address line, click tools, then internet options, then clear history.  it's also good to delete temporary files and cookies.  it'll make your computer work faster.
