Its the rings that you get when you put your shaving cream can in the shower. How can I get them out and how do I prevent them?

  1. I agree with Shortstuff about the ZUD.  To prevent the rings, either use a shower caddy, rest the can on a wash cloth or sponge or if you are really industrious, paint the bottom of a new can with nail polish.  Then you could put the plastic lid from a coffee can or margarine tub where you use the shaving cream and set it in the plastic each time you use.it.Or...

Just turn the can upside down and rest it on the plastic nozzle when your finished with it.

  2. CLR or try the Mr. Clean pads.  To prevent the problem...buy a shower/bath caddy (made of plastic) to store things in for your bath

  3. Buy a can of ZUD, the powdered cleanser that removes rust rings most everywhere. It comes in a yellow can with green or blue writing. Wet the area, then sprinkle the ZUD onto the rust spot, rub it in a little bit, then let it set for a little while. Go back to the rust stain, then scrub it a little more until the stain is gone. Rinse well & dry well. ZUD is great even on rusty toilet stains in the toilet. You can find it in the grocery store, Wal*Mart, etc.

  4. Magic eraser.  Cleans everything.

EDIT: lest someone think I am being sarcastic - I meant to say the Magic Eraser sponges you can get at the store.

  5. sos pad

  6. Scrub with baking soda and allow to sit over night then scrub again.

For prevention use a rubber or plastic pad or shower caddy.
