  3. It depends on the severity of the scratch. If you can touch it with your finger tips, it is not polishable so you'll need to bring it to a shop. However, if it the depth of the paint is minimal, you can polish. Since it was created by forward exertions, I presume the scratches to be pretty bad. First use compound with a wool pad using a rotary then follow through with a light polish like Menzerna PO106FA with either an orange or white pad depending on the condition of the paint. Than finish off with a sealant and or wax; or you can purchase protective film like from 3M and cover the area after its been polished. I recommend you do not do any of the mentioned steps without a rotary or a random orbital because working by hand does minimal if anything.

  4. light sandpaper, rubbing compound. Sandpaper will put smaller scratches in it then you will need the rubbing compound to polish out those scratches.

  5. If it is platic I would use meguiars scratch remover, it tends to lighten up the scratches and hide most of them. If it is metal just use a heavier wax that will likely hide the scratches. it depends how deep they are, if they are not that bad then those remidies will work if they are deep you will just need a re-paint...
