How do you get sighned to a record label?

dude he has to start putting out mixtapes for free and ****

then he needs to get a myspace page and if he has alot of friends and request for him then the record owners will actually look at him until then he cant.

by the way if he has a myspace then add detail with his url so i can listen to him

you might need to meet or know someone with a studio or whatever and give them a copy of your friends music.

You will probably have to do this many times and try convincing different record labels before your friend actually gets one.
