How do you get slightly yellowed white dress shirts white again?

i've heard that crushing one aspirin in to your washing machine while cleaning your shirts works

Try only 3 shirts at a time in a load of laundry...add 1 cup white vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda, as well as 1/2 cup of bleach...let it wash for 3 minutes, then soak for 5, then continue to wash as normal. Works for me!

Depends on what caused it to be yellow - you might have to buy a new one.  Same with white blouses, tank tops, etc.  you have to understand that white NEVER stays white, especially the armpit area!

Try Oxy-clean...or they do sell ' Whiteners' at the store. Check the same area detergents are sold.
