How do you get solid antiperspirant out of carpet

It is smashed in the carpet. (I have a precious 3 year old) It smells nice and my carpet is refreshingly dry even under stress, but it is slimey and conspicuous.

  2. Scrape up as much of it as you can. Then, spray with a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. I have found that vinegar works well at removing antiperspirant residue. Use a cloth or sponge to lightly rub the area. Use a towel to extract liquid that is left. The vinegar smell dissipates as it dries.
